Brett A. Reber grew up in Ellsworth, Kansas and received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in 1983 and his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1986. While at the law school, Brett served as managing editor of the Energy Law Journal. Following law school, Brett served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Thomas R. Brett in the Northern District of Oklahoma. Brett is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Oklahoma. He has been active in bar association activities and has served as the President of the Kansas Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and as a member of its Board of Governors. Brett recently served on the Board of Directors of the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel. He is a trustee of the Julia J. Mingenback Foundation and a director of the McPherson Industrial Development Company, locally, and chairman and director of the Kansas Development Finance Authority in Topeka, Kansas. His primary practice is providing advice to business and corporate clients with emphasis and experience in contracts, business acquisitions and litigation matters. |
